Dr. David Chin is a distinguished ENT surgeon at Parkway East Hospital in Singapore, with a special interest in rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery.

He specializes in the management of nasal polyposis and its effects on the upper and lower airways, and is experienced in uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, a procedure to remodel tissue in the throat.

Dr. Chin previously served as the director of the rhinology service at Changi General Hospital (CGH) and held visiting roles at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Ng Teng Fong Hospital, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

He completed advanced rhinology training with the Sydney Rhinology Fellowship, accredited by the American Rhinology Society, focusing on functional endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, and nasal airway surgery.

Actively involved in teaching and training, Dr. Chin has contributed to various courses in Singapore and the region, including the Singapore Allergy & Rhinology Course and FESS workshops.

Dr. Chin has published over 20 research articles, particularly on nasal polyposis and endoscopic techniques, earning recognition such as the Yahya Cohen Memorial Lectureship by the College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

He is a reviewer for the Singapore Medical Journal, Laryngoscope, and the American Journal of Rhinology and Allergy, and serves on the executive board of the Asian Research Symposium in Rhinology.
