Dr. Eng Soh Ping is a specialist in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) practicing at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.

He has a total experience of 20 years.

He began his surgical training locally before advancing to renowned institutions in the UK, where he gained specialist qualifications and Fellowships with the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh and Ireland.

His dedication and expertise have earned him prestigious memberships and accolades, including international fellowship with the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, and memberships with the Portman ENT Institute of France, the Tinnitus Retraining Therapy Association of America, and the European Academy of Otology & Neuro-otology.

In 2004, Dr. Eng received a national health scholarship for further training with global experts at prestigious institutions such as the University of Toronto, the University of Wisconsin, UCL de Mont Godinne in Belgium, and the Portmann Ear Institute in France.

After completing his fellowship, he returned to Singapore and served as a consultant surgeon at Changi General Hospital, where he pioneered the Ear & Hearing service and offered subspecialty care in voice and throat management. He also collaborated with KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital as a Visiting Consultant, focusing on pediatric ENT.

Known for his pioneering spirit, Dr. Eng was among the first ENT surgeons in Southeast Asia to perform hybrid cochlear implant surgery and the semi-implantable hearing aid (Retro-X).

Committed to medical education, Dr. Eng has been a clinical lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore since 2011, and actively participates in regional conferences and workshops. He has published numerous articles and contributed chapters to laryngology textbooks.
