Completion of Bursa Anatolian High School medical school graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University.
He did compulsory military service after medical school.
After completing compulsory military service, he began his practice as an assistance medical doctor in thoracic surgery at Marmara University.
He was elected President of the World FUE Institute in 2018.
He was membership in the ESHRS European Society of Hair Restauration Surgery (from 2005) and ISHRS International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery( 2007-2015).
Since 2103, he has been associated with IAHRS International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons.
He also wrote the widely known book ‘Practical Aspects of Hair Transplantation in Asians’ released under his name.
He conducts training and seminars for students and medical teams worldwide on FUE hair transplants.

Dr. Koray Erdogan has 25 years of experience in providing hair transplants using the advanced FUE hair transplant (Follicular Unit Extraction) procedures.
In 2001, he founded the ASMED Surgical Medical Center with the mission of providing quality and advanced hair transplants for people across the world.
He is a well-known FUE surgeon in Turkey and is also acknowledged as a leading hair specialist in Europe.
The year was 2004, and he was already venturing into creating his own style of harvesting using the FUE system: the Sequential Technique.
In a short period, he attended a number of conferences and seminars held across Europe and in the United States.
He created his own distinctive FUE technique called the "Sequential Technique" in the year 2004.
He showcased this “Sequential Technique” at many conferences across many countries, such as in Spain, Italy, Malaysia, and India.
In 2016, he founded the World FUE Institute with the other authorities of the International Hair Transplant Society, like Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Jose Lorenzo, Dr. Jerry Wong, etc.
