Dr. Koray Erdogan attended Bursa Anatolian High School and completed his medical degree in the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University.
After completing his medical degree, he went for compulsory service in the military.
After completing his compulsory military service, he started his practice at Marmara University’s Department of Thoracic Surgery as an assistant doctor.
In 2018, he was elected president of the World FUE Institute.
He is a member of the ESHRS European Society of Hair Restauration Surgery (since 2005), and ISHRS International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery(2007-2015).
Since 2103, he has been a member of the IAHRS International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons.
He also wrote the famous book ‘Practical Aspects of Hair Transplantation in Asians’ which was published under his name.
He conducts training and seminars for students and medical teams worldwide on FUE hair transplants.

He developed his own unique FUE system known as the “Sequential Technique” in the year 2004.

In 2016, he founded the World FUE Institute with the other authorities of the International Hair Transplant Society, like Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Jose Lorenzo, Dr. Jerry Wong, etc.
