Dr. Teo Kejia, having over 15 years of experience is a skilled neurosurgeon at Parkway East Hospital, Singapore, specializing in complex brain tumor surgeries using advanced techniques such as brain mapping and awake craniotomy.
He established the brain mapping and awake craniotomy surgery service at the National University Hospital (NUH) in 2017, becoming a pioneer in these advanced neurosurgical procedures in Singapore.
He has extensive experience managing neurovascular conditions, traumatic head injuries, and spinal disorders, including brain tumors, stroke, spine tumors, and hemifacial spasms.
Dr. Teo has played a significant role in neurosurgical education, serving as the Programme Director of the NUHS Surgery-in-General Residency Programme since 2022, and as a core faculty member in various training programs.
He is a founding member of the Asia Pacific Low-Grade Glioma Network and frequently chairs neurosurgical conferences, including the annual White Matter Dissection course.
