In 1992, He completed his MBBS from NUS, Singapore
In 1998, He attained his post-graduate degree in Ophthalmology (M Med (Ophth)) from NUS, Singapore.
Later, He also completed his FRCSEd in Ophthalmology from RCS, Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Along with that, he also did his FRCOphth from RCOphth, United Kingdom.
He was inducted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Ophthalmology) in Edinburgh as well as of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London.
Before joining Parkway East Hospital, He was a consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre. During his tenure, he served as the Deputy Director of the Singapore Eye Bank.
