Effective solution for a fractured hip joint.
Acetabular fixation is a surgery performed to fix a fracture in the hip socket joint. The hip socket joint can get fractured by a severe collision and needs to be fixed surgically. The hip joint is made up of two bones, the head of the femur bone and the socket of the pelvic bone. The socket of the pelvic bone is called the acetabular socket. When this gets fractured, the ball joint also gets disrupted causing pain and inflammation. Surgeons need to surgically fix the fracture using rods and screws and their main aim is to recover the cartilage for a smooth movement of the femur bone in the acetabular bone.
