Heart double valve replacement is a surgical procedure done to replace the two valves of the heart. The valves need to be changed as they might be not functioning properly and might be diseased. The valves supply blood from the heart to every part of the body so the blood flow will be affected if the valves have functional problems. An artificial valve can be added to replace the diseased valve or a donor valve can also be added to take its place.
