Dr Ashok Rajgopal completed his Junior residency at AIIMS, New Delhi post. He went on to pursue his senior residency at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, and Ormskirk General Hospital, Lancashire, UK.
He began his independent orthopedic practice at Sehgal Neurological Research Institute and Moolchand Hospital, New Delhi in 1985
He worked in the capacity of a Senior orthopedic consultant at Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, New Delhi in 1996
He has also functioned as the Director of the Orthopedic Department at Fortis Hospital, New Delhi
After working at numerous healthcare organizations, Dr Rajgopal joined Medanta, Gurgaon, as Chairman of the Bone and Joint Institute in 2009.
He also served as the Executive Director and Chairman of Fortis Bone and Joint Institute at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon.
Currently, he is the Group Chairman of Medanta Institute of Musculoskeletal Disorders and Orthopaedics at Medanta-The Medicity, Gurugram since 2019.
