Dr. Anant Kumar has developed kidney transplant programs in various Max Group hospitals and established a urology program at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali. In 2015, he introduced the latest robotic surgery techniques, leading to over 1,500 robotic surgeries across multiple departments, including more than 100 robotic kidney transplants. His special interests include uro-oncology, laparoscopy, and laser surgery. Dr. Kumar has published over 180 papers in prestigious national and international medical journals. He is a member of several global medical associations, such as the American Urological Association, British Association of Urological Surgeons, and the International Transplant Society, among others.

Dr. Kumar completed his medical education at KGMC, Lucknow, and pursued postgraduate studies in surgery and M.Ch. in Urology at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He also holds a DNB in Urology. He has been awarded numerous prestigious fellowships and has received further training at Monash Medical Center in Melbourne, Cleveland Clinic Ohio, John Hopkins in Baltimore, Newcastle upon Tyne, and Cambridge, UK.
