Professor Dr. Suporn Treepongkaruna was trained at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand.
She did her residency at the Ramathibodi Hospital in Mahidol University, Thailand in the year 1991.
Following that, she was trained in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Royal's Children Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
She has done a diploma from the Thai Sub Board of Pediatric Gastroenterology & Hepatology, in 2004.
She also earned a diploma from the Thai Board of Pediatrics in 1991.
She is currently a Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand.
She also serves as the assistant Dean for Academic Affairs of the same institution.
She has more than 75 scientific articles published mainly in the field of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition.
