Clinic reputation - The clinic’s success rates and reputation will matter a lot and will influence the cost. Most established clinics with good success rates charge more.
Medications - The medications and drugs required during the treatment amount to about 60% of the total cost. The type and dosage of medications required influence the final cost.
Tests for Evaluation - Prior to an IVF treatment, there is usually a series of tests both partners have to undergo, including semen evaluation, genetic testing, ultrasound evaluations, and hormone evaluations. These tests also influence the cost of the treatment.
IVF Type - Conventional IVF is generally the most expensive given the use of higher doses of fertility drugs and more intensive monitoring. Natural and minimal stimulation cycles tend to be less costly.
